We Highly Recommend osCommerce as your Ecommerce solution. We have used this software for all of our clients Ecommerce needs. It is extremely robust, easy to use, and the ability for us to customize it is very great.

What is osCommerce?
osCommerce is an online shopping cart software, aka e-commerce, solution under on going development by the open source community. Its' feature packed out-of-the-box installation allows website store owners to setup, run, and maintain their online stores.
How easy is it to Install osCommerce?
We have this ready as a pre-install on our server. If you are a hosting client, it literally takes 2 minutes to input 5 fields, and hit the install button. That 2 minutes includes opening IE!
How easy is it to configure?
We literally put in 100 staff hours into skinning the system to match your custom site design and integrating additional features that you may request. While the software is easy to install, there are many things that customers want to change and or configure. Therefore it takes someone with some experience to make the job a bit more efficient. That is how we can help you. Consider the fact that it might take you 600 hours to do the same work.
How long have you been working with osCommerce?
Since we started our company in 2002. osCommerce has been a staple in our office environment from day one. We highly endorse it, and we even use it for some of our own websites. In addition, we contribute information and assistance to the community at large when website owners need help with their osCommerce project.

Why do you Recommend osCommerce?
Simply put, it's simple to use. You don't need any programming knowledge whatsoever to use this system out of the box. It is so robust, most customers simply install it, configure it, and start selling. It can take very little time to configure. You just go to the admin screen, input the fields, add some categories, some products, set the payment and shipping options, and you can be selling online.
How long will it take to be working?
That depends....if you just use it out of the box, with one product, accept checks and ship USPS, you can be selling online in 30 minutes Really. We did this once for a customer to sell some items for Christmas, and they sold all their items in 3 hours on a Friday after noon. We got the call at Noon, and the site was live by 1pm. We advertised the products on yahoo.com and they were sold out by 4pm. This is not a recommended solution, however it does suffice as a quick band aid incase you are in a pinch and need a shopping cart quickly.

We recommend that you have a custom site designed and utilize osCommerce as the backbone for your site. It makes it look much more professional and sets it apart from most ecommerce websites. Many inexperienced people simply install osCommerce and leave the standard graphics in place so all the sites look the same, that is not recommended.
